Yamaha Birch Stage Custom - Short Stack Mod

Yamaha's Stage Custom Birch drums are a fantastic value.  

I shortened these drums, re-edged them and they sound amazing.  Have done many recordings with this kit and they sound rich and bigger than they look.

Recently rewrapped this kit in one of my favorite Ludwig colors from the 70's, Psychedelic Red (not sure how blue and green lost out in the naming :-).  This type of wrap can be removed and the original glossy maple finish underneath is undamaged.
