Ludwig / Hayman Vintage 1969 3-Ply Green Glass Restoration

Found these 1969 made-in-England Hayman drums at the drum swap meet. Back in the day, Hayman made beautiful, great sounding drums with thin 3-ply shells - just like Ludwig,  But the turret lugs and rest of the chrome on these was beyond salvageable (see last photo). Unlikely I could replace it all so I used some Ludwig hardware I had.  Wrapped the drums in dark green glass.   This kit is one of my gigging kits for now.

Although they are badged Ludwig, I should call them "Ludmans"... or "Haywigs"!
